Shoreside Apartments for the Elderly and Disabled
Located on 300 Sixth Ave. Shoreside Apartments is owned by Cove Homes, Inc and managed by the East Greenwich Housing Authority. The apartment complex has been open since 1978 and is the first apartment complex of its kind in East Greenwich. It consists of 106 units and is designed to accomodate both the elderly and the disabled.
Subsidized by the section 8 Housing Program, qualified persons of Shoreside Apartments pay no more than 30% of their adjusted income for rent. Payment of rent provides amenities that include:

A Certified Residence Services Coordinator (CRSC) is available to assist residence in determining and locating services.
The CRSC act as a liaison between residents, management, and various community agencies. Other services may include arranging transportation, assistance in completing and understanding forms or medical bills, location health services, and providing support to the residents and their families.
